He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Warren Lohman and Dessie Marie Johanna Frels; his wife Helen Carolyn Lohman; his son Michael Edward Lohman; his siblings, Myrtice Oakley, Wilburn Lynn Lohman, Angeline Franklin, Dellaine Jones and Melvin Lohman; and his granddaughter Patricia Megan Elizabeth Lohman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Lohman and Laura Taylor (James); his sisters, Dessie Perkins, Bess Buffington and Frances Lohman; and his grandchildren, Brandi Spears (Kenny), Mykel Jaeckels (Spencer Draper), Briana Jaeckels, Leah Anthamaten (Tim), Paige Hybert (Jeremy), Michelle Lohman, Myranda Holt (Dakota) and Clinton Taylor (Yveht). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
