She was predeceased by: her husband Ernesto Bernal; her brother Lazaro Perez Sr.; her mother Concepcion Garza; and her grandparents, Rafaela and Toribio Rangel.

She is survived by: her brothers, Israel Perez (Sarah) of Bishop, Mike Perez (Dora) of Bishop and Eliasar "Leo" Perez (Josie) of Bishop. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
