He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Suggs and Ellen Shafer Suggs. He is survived by: his wife Karen K. Suggs; his sons, Shane Suggs (Lisa), Lance Suggs (Marion) and Blake Mooney (Van); his grandchildren, Tristan, Kylie, Alexandra, Delanie, Victor and Case; and his siblings, Beth Kartrude (Tom), James Richard Suggs (Patty) and Lawrence Miller Suggs (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
