He is survived by: his wife Maria Lucia "Lucy" Loera of Bishop; his daughters, Mary Ann Alfaro (Ronald) of Kingsville, Norma Herrera (Gary) of Kingsville and Rubi Perez of Bishop; his stepson Michael Loera; his grandchildren, Aaron, Debra, Araceli of Mikey, EJ, Natalie, Nathan, Arieana and Julian; his siblings, Maria Hilda De La (Humberto), Antonio Loera Jr. (Maricela) of Edinburg, Arnoldo Loera (Mona) of Ennis, Alberto "Beto" Loera (Virginia) and Andy Loera (Delma); and his stepmother Cristela "Kela" Loera. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
