He was predeceased by: his wife Enedina R. Sanchez; his grandson Jose Alonzo Garza; his parents, Fabian M. Sr. Sanchez and Idolina Sanchez; and his brother Felix Morris Sanchez.
He is survived by: his children, Melba Sanchez (Shelly) of Fabian Martin, II., John Sanchez (Diana) and Ida Ann Sanchez (Jorge Garza); and his siblings, Fernando Max Sanchez (Fila), Idolina Garcia, Julia Sanchez Luera (Abelino), Anita Guajardo (Mike) and Luisa Alvarado. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
