She is survived by: her sister Marie Romig of The Woodlands; her children, Norma Boone of Bishop, TX and Joseph Boone (Akiko) of New York City; and her grandson Leo Boone.
Even though Ethel loved flowers, being the practical and frugal type that she was, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Gertrude's Catholic Church, Weaver's of Love Soup Kitchen, or the Meals on Wheels program.
