It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ysabel Lopez Jr. of Big Spring, Texas, born in Lamesa, Texas, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ysabel Sr. Lopez and Marciana Lopez (Ramirez); his wife Esther S. Lopez; and his siblings, Flabio Lopez, Pauline Lopez, Fred Lopez, Lucia Garcia, Felipe Lopez, Sr., Rudy Lopez, Sr., Gloria Garcia and Virginia Vasquez.
He is survived by: his son Michael (Shayla Lopez); his grandchildren, Adaleigh, Zaiden and Alexander Lopez of Lubbock; his son Stephen Lopez (Kristin Patelunas) of Brooklyn; and his siblings, Dora Toscano of Lamesa, Teresa Rodriquez of Monahans and Johnny Lopez (Margaret Lopez) of Midland, Texas.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
