She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Grundy Templeton and Josie Farris Templeton; her brothers, John Templeton and James Templeton; her children, Donna Franklin and Terry "Fuzzy" Carter; her granddaughter Christy Carter; and her sons-in-law, Scott Hughes and Kenneth Franklin.

She is survived by: her children, Jim Bob Carter (Edna) of Rochester, Carla Shaw of Big Spring and Debbie Gressett (Wayne) of Haskell; and her grandchildren, Teri Gonzales (Frank), Misty Matthies (Jimmy), Brenda Franklin, Toni Shaw and Tony Wyrick. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
