He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard and Ila Mae Spradling (Crable); his son William Orville "Rusty" Spradling, Jr.; and his siblings, David, Hubert, Charles, Gordon Wesley, Mille and Nancy.

He is survived by: his significant other Reta Mae; his son Michael Spradling of Santa Fe; his grandchildren, Angie Spradling, Ryan Patton Spradling and Dr. Robin Patrick Spradling; and his daughter-in-law Chong Suk Spradling of Henderson, NV.

The family suggest memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
