He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnetta Bednar (Cox); and his brothers, Edwin and Clayton Bednar. He is survived by: his children, James Bednar (Sandy) of San Angelo, Tina Bednar of Abilene and Debra Smith (Tim) of Eula; his nephew Rodger Bednar (Nancy) of Keller; his niece Ruth Ann Spangler (Gene) of Las Vegas, NV.; his grandchildren, Aaron Li (Yu) of Midland, Brandon Bednar (Magen) of Norman, OK, Tyler Bednar of Oklahoma City, OK, Marci Frias (John) of Edmond, OK, Tori Smith and Ethan Smith of Edmond, OK; his great grandchildren, Tate and Zaylin Li; and his caregivers, Lea Sanchez, Ashley Sanchez and Ari George.
