He is survived by: his wife Brandy Akin; his son Zack Akin; his stepsons, Justin Jones and Kody Jones; his parents, Janet Akin and Eddie Akin; and his siblings, Valarie Shreves (Shawn) and David Akin (Shelly). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
