He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Jo Franklin and Wallace Marshall Franklin, Sr.; his wife Debbie Mitchem; his brother Scott Franklin; and his grandmother Marita Wade.
He is survived by: his siblings, Navauda Franklin Heard of Burleson, TX, Wade Franklin of Seguin, TX, Donna McGaffin of Huntsville, AL and Jane Smith of Abilene, TX. He is also survived by 6 nieces; 3 nephews; 3 great nieces; 1 great nephew; 2 great great nieces; and 1 great great nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
