He loved football and supported the Garden City Bearkats with his donations contributed through his company JT West Texas Fence and Welding, which was established by his dad Jose Talamantes Sr. Pepe walked his mom Gloria Cruz Talamantes into his peaceful passing by speaking about his desires to be completed as soon as he was to go to be with the Lord.
