Boyd Williams wrote a sympathy message

“Roger and I were like brothers. We met on the first day of school at West Texas State College, fall 1952. We had many adventures together, and always enjoyed every event. My field was Geology, and often he would accompany me on my field trips to Palo Duro Canyon. Between Freshman and Sophomore years we took a long hitch-hike adventure from Dumas to Santa Fe, NM. My health prevented from go to the Memorial. I will remember him always. My deepest sympathy to the family. Boyd (Woody) William”
