He is survived by: his wife Joy Howland (McNew); his son Robert D. "Skip" Howland (Kay); his grandchildren, Robert D. "Bo" Howland Jr. (Kerri) and Michelle Lee Crenshaw (Shannon); his great grandchildren, Cody, Shawna, Oden, Skipper and Xander; his great great grandchild Aubrey; and his siblings, Jerry Howland and Maggie Mikus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
