He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavell Jasper and Gladys Abbott (Hindman); and his former wife Karen of Big Spring, TX.. He is survived by: his wife Linda of Providence Village, TX; his son Douglas (Cheryl Abbott) of Algonquin, IL; his stepdaughters, Chrissy (Josh Rainey) of Forsan, TX and Heather Nichols of Nevada; his grandchildren, CJ, Ashleigh Abbott, Paige, Garret Rainey and Morrow Nichols; and his siblings, David Abbott and Jeannie Stuart.
