It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Okley Phillips of Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, H. O. Phillips (Hub) and Gladys Turner Phillips; his former wife Mary Ann Fairchild; his wife Joyce Phillips; his sister Leona Louder; his granddaughter Misty Dawn Phillips; and his son-in-law Jon Hargrove (Mary Ann Phillips).
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Crenshaw (Robert), Sherry Phillips, Jim Bob Phillips (Penny) and Randy Phillips (Cecilia); his grandchildren, Cari Harrington, Shannon Crenshaw (Michelle), Brandon Harrington, Bucky Crenshaw (Kara), Jared Phillips (Jessica), Ragan Phillips (Andrea), Hadden Phillips (Sarah), Lindsay Wilkerson (Heath) and Bryson Phillips; his sisters, Linda Roberts (Larry) and Lila Mackey (Lyle); and his brother-in-law Carroll Choate. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
