He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edley Sylvester Rutledge and Clara Mae McMahon; his wife Kathy; his children, Jayce Piper, Rusty Rutledge, Rodney Rutledge and Joy Peterson; his sister Betty Laverne Rutledge; and his stepdaughter Leslie Smith.
