She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Flores and Ofilia Flores; her sisters, Anita Massey, Geraldine Lopez and Daisy Battles; and her brother-in-law Loren Powell.
She is survived by: her husband John C. Tovias; her children, Maria S. Avalos (Silvino) of Big Spring, Elizabeth Parra of Midland, Tito Tovias (Robin) of Abilene, Luis Martinez (Michelle) of Big Spring, Ted Tovias of San Angelo and Veronica Rodriguez (Rodrigo) of Dallas; and her siblings, Angie Foster of Big Spring, Mary Powell of Kansas, Margie Flores of Louisiana and Juan Flores (Karen) of Arkansas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren;1 great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Funeral Home & Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
