He was predeceased by: his father Coit Elisha; his siblings, Ed (Mary), Artie (Lucille) and Mary Beth (Vinters Walker); his brother-in-law Danny Majors; his son-in-law John Bennett; his grandson Taylor; and his great grandchild Maddie Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his former wife Doris Jones; his children, Deborah (Bob Lee), Becky Bennett, Bruce (Pam) and Brad (Cindy); and his sisters, Linda Majors Newton and Brenda (Lynn Jackson). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Frontier Baptist Church in Brackettville, TX, or to Superior Hospice in Del Rio, TX.
