We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2022, at the age of 92, Lyman Ward Leach Jr. of Big Spring, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Leach, Sr. and Minnie Leach (Martinez); his stepmother Estelle Ann Leach (Marie Leach); his son Randal Mark Leach; and his siblings, Laura Martinez, Kenneth Charles Leach, Raymond Leach and Harold Leach.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Backhaus Mitchell; his children, Larry Jon Leach of Seattle, Julie Ann Robertson of Federal Way and Lori Lynn Redfield of Barnston; his stepchildren, Bryan Mitchell of Decatur and Janet Fagan of Midland; his brothers, David Leach of Seattle and Donald Leach of Eastland; his sister-in-law Christina Leach of Houston; and his nieces and nephews, Pat Matull of San Antonio and Joe Martinez of San Antonio. He is also survived by four grandsons, numerous great grandchildren, two step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
