It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonor Rodriguez Sotelo of Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabino Rodriguez, Sr. and Savina Baca Rodriguez; her daughter Angela; her siblings, Eulalio Rodriguez, Gabino Rodriguez, Jr. and Monica Chavez; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Sotelo and Consuelo Balderas.
She is survived by: her children, Jaime Sotelo of Big Spring, Paul Sotelo (Cindy) of Lone Oak, Lorina Sotelo Bradford (Blaine) of Midland, John Sotelo (Anna Lisa) of Big Spring and Cynthia Sotelo Castillo (Reyes) of Big Spring; her siblings, Alejandra Barrios and Ray Rodriguez; her sister-in-law Anita Sotelo; her grandchildren, Cecili Acosta, Victoria Molina, Nicholas Sotelo, Matilde Sotelo, Robert Sotelo, Samuel Sotelo, Alejandro Sotelo, Aaron Sotelo, Andrea Sotelo, Abel Sotelo, Ethan Castillo, Zachary Castillo, Bethanie Scoggins and Natalie Bradford; and her great grandchildren, Lyna, Damien, Kameron, Ellie, Rowan and Olly.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home - BIG Spring (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A rosary was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1009 Hearn St, Big Spring, TX 79720).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
