With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Steen Sr. of Big Spring, Texas, born in Rowland, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Steen and Ellard Steen; and his siblings, Joseph Steen, Ellard Steen, Jr., Carolyn Steen and Gloria Jean Locklear.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Steen of Big Spring and Larry Steen, Jr. of Portland; his grandchildren, Brittany D. Steen of Midland, Joey Broomfield of Midland, Larry Steen III of Daisetta, Sarah M. Steen of Odessa, Tyler M. Roach (Sunny Kuykendall) and Jessica L. Bermea (Jose Zuniga); his great grandchildren, Hazel Roach, Violet Roach, Skylar Bermea, Aaden Zuniga and Penelope Mier; and his siblings, Vernon Steen, Hugh Steen, Randle Steen, Daphne Moser, Pennie Steen, Tela Brooks, Mary Vargas and Sue Dimery.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to the communities from Big Spring to midland for all the amazing donations made in honor of our beloved Dad/Pepaw, brother, uncle, and cousin!
