He was predeceased by: his mother Rainbow Sekona (Monika); and his sister Lesieli Maumau. He is survived by: his father Samuela Maumau; his wife Michelle of Big Spring; his children, Fakaosita, To'ameilangi, Finefeuiaki, Rainbow, Matamoana, Ida-Mae, Sinoveti and Janet; his siblings, Longani Maumau, Pila Sekona, Atu Moa, Linda Boreliz and Silia Emeliano; and his grandson Salesi Maumau.
