Juanita Osburn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Juanita Osburn of Big Spring, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Eugene McNeese and Vada Bell McNeese (Gossett); her husbands, Ervil Lee Osburn and George Washington Ivy; her siblings, Louise Gilstrap, Evanell Barber and James McNeese; and her stepson Larry Ivy.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Shields (Royce) and Gary Osburn (Janet); and her stepdaughters, Betty Pruitt (Ken) and Gaye Lawhon (Floyd). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 10 great greatgrandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The lying in state was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home - BIG Spring (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720).
