He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sealey Wallis and Eva Muriel Brooks Wallis; and his sister Nina Lorene Wallis Merket. He is survived by: his wife Kay Wallis; his children, Steve Wallis (Vickie), Brooks Wallis (Susan) and Kathi Wallis; and his grandchildren, Lisa Pearson (Jon), Stephen Wallis (Mary), Brandon Wallis (Melinda), Zachary Wylie, Dustin Wylie (Tiffany), Chase Wylie, K'Leigh McCarter (David) and Reagan Reedy (Max). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to College Baptist Church, located at 1105 Birdwell Lane, Big Spring, Texas.
