He is survived by: his wife Lupe Brito; his children, Sandra (Henry Alvarez), Sackie Brito (Kim Hargrove), Elvira (Horace Atkinson) and Linda (Mike Smith); and his sisters, Carmen Hernandez, Lorenza Hernandez, Necie (Willie Moreno) and Janie Martinez.
