He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Wright and Opal Wright (Ely); and his brother David. He is survived by: his daughter Karie; his brother Gerry Wright (Debbie) of Georgia; and his sister-in-law Lana Wright of Wichita Falls. He is also survived by cousins, nephews and a niece.
