She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosie Wood Polk and Jesse Polk; her husband Eugene Vanderbilt, Sr.; and her son Randy "Nardy" Vanderbilt. She is survived by: her children, Shelia Woodruff of Big Spring, Margaret Burleson of Big Spring, Martha Blake of Big Spring, Traci Duff of Brasswell, NC, Rosie Francis of Big Spring, Eugene Vanderbilt, Jr. of Big Spring, Michael Vanderbilt of Big Spring and Donald Vanderbilt of Big Spring; her siblings, Sarah Jones of San Angelo, Mellisa Polk, Iris Polk, Sharon Polk, Renee Polk, Joyce Polk of Gonzales, Charles Polk of Winston, CA, James Polk of Houston, Anthony Polk, Jessi Polk and Bill Polk of Gonzales; and her close friend Letha Potts. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
