It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Fryar of Big Spring, Texas, born in Coahoma, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey W. Fryar (Pig); her daughter-in-law Sandie Fryar; her granddaughter Leslie Martin; her brother Cromwell Rhoton; and her nephew Brent Rhoton.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Fryar and Shana Porter (Gary); her grandchildren, Todd Anderson (Vinda), Kerry Fryar (Neanda) and Bart Davis (Lindsay); and her sister Jeannie Cunningham (Charles). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID, private family graveside services will be at Trinity Park.
The family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Association, Home Hospice or 14th & Main Church of Christ.
