He is survived by: his wife Polly Chappell Davis; his daughters, Jennifer Davis Hord (Willis Daniel Hord III) and Shelley Davis Harper (Jack Farmer Harper); his grandchildren, Lauren Ferrell Harper, Davis Lee Hord (Margaret Ellen Hord), Ellen Claire Hord, Hunt Daniel Hord, Caroline Bryant Harper and Olivia Chappell Harper; his great grandchild Frances Fox Hord; his brother Paul L. Davis, Jr. (Betty Rae Davis); and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Chappell Light (David Light) and David Scott Miles. He is also survived by loving extended family and friends.
