He was predeceased by: his parents, Magdalena Hernandez and Aurturo Hernandez; and his siblings, Arthur "Novie" Hernandez, Ruben Hernandez and Norma Hernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Ada Hernandez (Trystan), Tracey Kelley (David), Michelle Cervantes (Manuel) and Gene Villarreal (Esthela); his brothers, Carlos Hernandez, Rodolfo Hernandez (Lupe), Federico Hernandez and Rogelio Hernandez (Amy); and his sister-in-law Melinda Hernandez. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Myers & Smith Chapel (301 E 24th St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1009 Hearn St, Big Spring, TX 79720).
Felipe loved painting and any kind of crafts, especially memorials to family members.
