It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Hope Athas (Big Spring, Texas), born in Catonsville, Maryland, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Esther Henrietta Whitecotton and Cyril Thomas Whitecotton; her siblings, Cyril Thomas Whitecotton, Robert Irvin Whitecotton and Betty Eileen; her husband Pete Athas; and her daughters, Phyllis Ann Schultz, Wanda Lee Wright and Penny Elaine Athas. She was also cherished by five grandchildren.
