He is survived by: his girlfriend Irene Hinojosa of Big Spring; his children, Earnest Castaneda, Jr. of Big Spring and Leslie Ann Cosegrove (Christopher) of Big Spring; his stepsons, Oscar Solis, Jr. (Alejandra) of Midland, Ruben Solis (Brandy) of San Angelo and Alex Hinojosa (Priscilla) of San Angelo; and his siblings, Joe Castaneda, Margarito Castaneda, Jr. (Elizabeth), Carlos Castaneda, Martin Castaneda, Frances Enriquez, Margie Rivas (Omer), Lupe Loya (Jessie), Mary Lou Marquez and Viola Castaneda. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
