He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Estes Smith and Lelah Williams Smith; his wife Sue Nell Lawdermilk; and his siblings, Clara Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Joyce Pollock and Bill Smith.
He is survived by: his children, David (Lynn Smith), Steve (Brenda Smith), Sharon (Clint Harmon) and Scott (Shell Smith); his grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Blaine Smith, Brittany Walker, Shiloh Smith, Sheyenne Smith, Kelcie Harmon, Shayla Harmon and Jake Cooley; and his close friend Leona.
