With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Carter of Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Terry Carter; her parent Irene Loudamy; her siblings, Joy Loudamy, Loy Loudamy and Roy Loudamy; and her niece Dacia Roen.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Loudamy and Wilma Carter; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Hobbs, Diane Roush, Pam Simpson, Andi Thompson, Shannon Thompson, Sandy McCoy, Steve Carter, Joe Carter and Kent Simpson.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home - BIG Spring (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
