He was predeceased by: his children, Ricky Robertson and Donna Robertson; and his grandson Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Dwanna Robertson; his sons, Donald J. Robertson Jr. (Judy) of Sanger, TX and George R. Robertson (Kathy) of Fort Worth, TX.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Robertson (Angie), Mindy Robertson (Chris), Joshua Robertson (Kristina), Sydnie Smith (Jake), Rebekah Williams (Jeremy) and Scarlet Damie (Chaitanya); his great grandchildren, Savannah, Torbyn, Beau, Luke, Jack, James, Jude, Blair, Jett, Leighton, Jemma and Presley; and his great great grandchildren, Elizebeth and Phoebe.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home - BIG Spring (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Project 4031 in Fort Worth, a foundation his family started to assist families during the end of life.
