With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delia Mendez (Big Spring, Texas), born in Kermit, Texas, who passed away on January 14, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nico Lopez and Manuel Lopez; her grandparents, Sabina and Francisco Lara; her grandson Jared Rayan Gonzales; and her siblings, Manuel Lopez, Jr., Domingo Lara, Alvino Lara, George Lara, Jose Lara, Trini Lara and Simona Porras.
She is survived by: her husband David Mendez of Coahoma; her children, Sylvia Mendez (Warren) of Westbrook, Carol Mendez (Shane) of Coahoma, Mike Mendez of Big Spring and Steven Mendez of Coahoma; and her siblings, Reynaldo Lopez (Norma) of Odessa, Raul Lara (Hilda) of Kermit, Becky Vasquez (Rodrigo) of Kermit and Josephina Heredia (Manuel) of Monahans. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
