It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ray Wanner of Big Spring, Texas, born in Hobbs, New Mexico, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Wanner and Lillie Wanner; and his brother Robert Wanner. He is survived by: his sons, Denny Ray Wanner (Susan) and Christopher David Wanner; his wife Patsy Marie Collins of Big Spring; his grandchildren, Elysia of Big Spring and Evan of Big Spring; his son Chris (Jana); his grandchildren, Avery of Lubbock and Emma of Lubbock; and his sisters, Marie Irene Niccum of Pampa and Rudean Terrell (Lloyd) of Seagraves. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Missions Fund at Trinity Baptist Church in Big Spring, TX.
