He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Deel (Calvert) and Lindsey Deel; his wife Wanda Deel; and his sons, James Deel, Robert Lin Deel and Bobby Deel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Rangel and Pamela Karwedsky; and his grandsons, Anthony Fuentes, James Wrye, Ryan Deel, Shane Deel, John Deleon and Wesley Payne. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The lying in state was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
