He is survived by: his mother Sue Proffitt; his significant other Lynda; his children, Shawn Hatfield (Vince) and Blake Proffitt (Blayr); his grandchildren, Joshua Hatfield (Savannah Tucker), Zachary Hatfield (Elle Torres) and Emily Dunn (Brad); and his nephews, Rick Proffitt, Jay Proffitt and Seth Proffitt.
