He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Jefferson and Thelma Pearl Biffle Russell; his wife Virginia Sue Neal; his children, Big Spring, Micheal Russell (Linda) of Midland, Kathryn Lane of Big Spring, Cindy Stanley (John) of Granite Shoals, Becky Cowell (Rob) of Lubbock and Stephanie Wolf of Big Spring; and his sister Faye Buckingham of Georgetown. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
