She was predeceased by: her father Robert Harvey Carter, Jr.; and her brother Jeff Carter. She is survived by: her husband Frank Joy; her sons, Taylor Joy, Jeremy Joy and Justin Joy; her grandchildren, Kynleigh and Kadynce; and her brothers, Ron Carter and William "Bill" Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
