He was predeceased by: his grandparents, JD and Jewel Bishop. He is survived by: his wife Amber Hillger-Bishop; his sons, Daniel Bishop Jr. and Beau Bishop; his stepdaughter Rylee Thomason; his brother Levi Brown of Ft. Davis; and his former wife Michelle Johnson of Colorado City.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial be donated to National Fibromyalgia Association or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
