She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Eugene Henderson and Attie Mae Henderson (Beaty); and her brother Johnnie Henderson. She is survived by: her husband Larry Nix; her children, Tommy Bruce Scott (Laura), James Larry Nix (Mary) and Brenda Gayle Herrin (Scot); her grandchildren, Layne Scott (Kade), Taylor Scott, Jennifer Oxford (Byron), Ethan Blevins, Julie Nix and Joe Harris, Jr. (Kara); her great grandchildren, Kinlea Scott, Ella Harris, Kelsey Scott and Blane Oxford; and her brother Stuart Henderson (Peggye). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The lying in state was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the 10th Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home - BIG Spring (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel (906 S Gregg St, Big Spring, TX 79720). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Trinity Memorial Park (6900 US-87, Big Spring, TX 79720).
