He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marquez and Pilar Marquez; his wife Rosa Marquez; his children, Benito Marquez Jr., Jerry Marquez and Cindy Marquez Machado; and his siblings, Thomas Marquez Jr., David Marquez, Saul Marquez, Sammy Marquez and Maria Marquez Lara.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Marquez (Melinda) of Big Spring, Harry Marquez (Shelly) of Big Spring, Katy Gonzales (Tino), Rosemary Yanez (Gil) of San Antonio and Melinda Machado of Big Spring; and his siblings, Manuel Marquez of Florida and Elizama Cuellar of Plano. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, & 20 great grandchildren.
