She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Perez and Julia Perez; her husband Jose Ornelas; and her siblings, Preciliano Perez, Matias Perez, Sr. and Sabina Soto.
She is survived by: her children, Josie Kohorst (Ed) of Lubbock, Sylvia Ornelas (Rocky Garcia) of Big Spring, Debbie Doporto (Jerry) of Big Spring, Daniel P. Ornelas of Big Spring and Rick P. Ornelas (Bertha) of Big Spring; and her sisters, Maria P. Mendoza of Ft. Worth, Tommie P. Harris of Ft. Worth and Elepidia P. Ramirez of Mississippi. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.
