It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Armando R. Alaniz of Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Alaniz and Antolina Ramirez Alaniz; his siblings, Manuel, Mary, Sylvia, Ludin and Janie; and his daughter Mary Elizabeth (David).
He is survived by: his wife Janie Torres Alaniz; his children, Alicia Moncallo (Jesse), Armando Alaniz Jr. (Aurora), Luz Arellano (Candy), Adolio Alaniz (Sarah) and Braedyn Joseph "B. J." Alaniz; and his brothers, Alfredo, Pablo and Adolio. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
