He is survived by: his mother Edvira Mata of Midland; and his siblings, Elvira Perez of San Angelo, Mary Lou Mendez of Houston, Irma Dawson of Midland, Mary Ann Coronado of Midland and Ben Cano. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
