She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Aguilar and Manuela Aguilar; her husband Johnny Hernandez; her daughter Olga Hernandez; her grandchildren, Angela Montez and Miguel Bencomo; and her brothers, Francisco Aguilar and Felipe Aguilar.
She is survived by: her children, Iris Montez (Joe), Elsa Hernandez, Johnny Hernandez (Leta), Letitia Monk (Ron) and Cindy Islas (Val); her grandchildren, Socorro Jones, Lena Adame, Jose Montez, Gabriel Paredez, Jennifer Sarmiento, Francisco Ornelas, Esthela Villareal, Marisa Cole, Matthew Hernandez, Kyle Monk, Nicole Unkart, Christopher Hernandez, Joshua Islas and Nicholas Islas; and her siblings, Amelia Portillo, Esperanza Carrasco, Felix Aguilar and Emma Aguilar. She is also survived by seven great granddaughters, four great grandsons, and two great great grandsons.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Taylor – St. Vincent de Paul Conference, to help the less fortunate.
